In textile and label production, the right printing technique determines both the quality and durability of the product. At Arda Moda Etiket, we provide our customers with high-standard services using both digital transfer printing and rotary screen printing technologies. Below, we clearly explain the differences and advantages of both methods and which one is best suited for which type of production.

What is Digital Transfer Printing? What are its advantages?

Digital transfer printing is the process of transferring a design from a computer environment to film/paper, and then from there to fabric using heat and pressure.

Advantages:

  • Detailed and high-resolution prints.

  • Excellent results in gradient visuals.

  • Economical for low quantity orders.

  • Ideal for custom designs.

  • Production can be done to order without keeping stock.

This method is the most logical choice, especially for projects requiring small batches, sample production, custom designs, and fast delivery .

What is Rotary Screen Printing?

The important point in your business is this: Arda Moda Etiket doesn't use classic flat screen printing → it uses rotary/cylindrical surface screen printing.

This technique works by transferring ink onto the fabric through a cylindrical screen . It is a faster, more stable, and more suitable type of printing for mass production.

Advantages of Circular Screen Printing:

  • It is very fast in mass production.

  • The print quality is excellent (each piece is of the same quality).

  • Because the ink density is high, it produces very durable prints.

  • It has better wash resistance compared to flat screen printing.

  • It is the most efficient method for "long length" production of products such as labels, rib knits, elastic bands, tapes, bias tapes, and textile tapes.

  • Suitable for continuous roll-to-roll production → Waste rate is very low.

This technique is particularly useful for:

  • Rubber printing (including non-slip rubber printing)

  • Meterage label printing

  • Ribbon and tape printing

  • It is the most suitable solution for long-term fabric surfaces .
